You Matter Teaching Lesson

This world is full of negative people putting each other down. The world is constantly telling you you’re not good enough, you’re not smart enough, you’re not pretty enough or strong enough. You don’t matter!

However, God says you matter! In this lesson, the children will learn to have a healthy self-esteem. They are going to learn that God thinks they matter and God can use them to do some special things for the Kingdom of God.

The children will learn from the story of Samuel annointing David as king. He was an unlikely candidate for king of Israel, but God chose him anyway. David mattered to God.

In this lesson, the children will learn that they also matter to God. When they embrace that thought, they will see God begin to do some amazing things in their lives.
